Descripción
CJC-1295 with DAC is a modified analogue of Growth Hormone Releasing Hormone (GHRH) engineered to dramatically extend its duration of action.
Unlike CJC-1295 no DAC (Modified GRF 1-29), which is cleared relatively quickly, the DAC version contains a Drug Affinity Complex that binds reversibly to circulating albumin. This prolongs circulation from approximately 30 minutes to several days, allowing researchers to investigate sustained stimulation of the growth hormone axis.
Because of this unique pharmacokinetic profile, CJC-1295 with DAC has become one of the most widely investigated long-acting GHRH analogues in endocrine and metabolism research.
Why CJC-1295 with DAC is widely investigated
Published research has investigated CJC-1295 with DAC in relation to:
- sustained growth hormone signalling
- IGF-1 regulation
- healthy aging research
- body composition
- muscle physiology
- recovery biology
- protein metabolism
- endocrine physiology
- GHRH receptor signalling
Unlike short-acting GHRH analogues, the DAC version is primarily investigated for maintaining prolonged GH and IGF-1 elevation rather than generating brief physiological pulses.
How CJC-1295 with DAC works
Drug Affinity Complex (DAC)
The defining feature of this peptide is the Drug Affinity Complex, which enables reversible binding to serum albumin. Albumin binding protects the peptide from rapid degradation and renal clearance, extending its biological activity for several days.
Growth hormone release
CJC-1295 with DAC activates GHRH receptors in the pituitary gland, stimulating endogenous growth hormone secretion. Because the peptide remains in circulation much longer than the No DAC version, published studies have reported sustained increases in circulating GH and IGF-1.
IGF-1 research
One of the principal reasons for developing CJC-1295 with DAC was to achieve prolonged elevation of IGF-1, allowing researchers to investigate the effects of sustained GHRH signalling on metabolism and tissue physiology.
Endocrine physiology
Researchers have also investigated how prolonged GHRH receptor activation differs from physiological pulsatile secretion, making CJC-1295 with DAC an important tool in comparative endocrine research.
Why CJC-1295 with DAC differs from CJC-1295 No DAC
Although they share the same peptide backbone, CJC-1295 with DAC and CJC-1295 No DAC are pharmacologically distinct compounds.
CJC-1295 with DAC
- Long-acting (approximately 5–8-day half-life)
- Sustained GH and IGF-1 elevation
- Albumin binding through the Drug Affinity Complex
- Designed for prolonged endocrine stimulation
CJC-1295 no DAC (Modified GRF 1-29)
- Short-acting (approximately 30-minute half-life)
- Physiological GH pulses
- Rapid clearance
- Designed to mimic natural GHRH secretion
For this reason, the two peptides are not interchangeable and are often selected for different research objectives.
Investigación humana y preclínica
CJC-1295 with DAC has progressed into early human clinical investigation.
Published studies demonstrated prolonged increases in circulating growth hormone and IGF-1 following administration, confirming that the Drug Affinity Complex successfully extends biological activity compared with conventional GHRH analogues. Research continues to explore applications in endocrinology, metabolism and healthy aging.
Published safety observations
Early clinical studies generally reported favourable tolerability. The most frequently reported adverse events included mild injection-site reactions and transient flushing. Researchers also noted prolonged elevations of GH and IGF-1 consistent with the peptide’s extended half-life, which distinguishes it from the shorter-acting No DAC formulation.

CJC-1295 is supplied as a lyophilised vial and should be handled using standard peptide reconstitution procedures appropriate to the research setting. Must be reconstituted with agua bacteriostática antes de usar.

Preguntas Frecuentes
What is CJC-1295 with DAC?
CJC-1295 with DAC is a long-acting analogue of growth hormone-releasing hormone (GHRH). The attached Drug Affinity Complex extends its circulation time, making it widely investigated for sustained GH and IGF-1 signalling.
What does DAC mean?
DAC stands for Drug Affinity Complex, a chemical modification that enables reversible albumin binding and dramatically prolongs the peptide’s half-life.
How is CJC-1295 with DAC different from No DAC?
The DAC version provides prolonged GH and IGF-1 elevation, whereas CJC-1295 No DAC (Modified GRF 1-29) produces short-lived, physiological GH pulses. They are different research tools rather than different strengths of the same peptide.
Why is CJC-1295 with DAC investigated for IGF-1?
Its extended duration of action allows researchers to study sustained stimulation of the GH/IGF-1 axis over several days rather than transient hormone pulses.
Can CJC-1295 with DAC be combined with other GH peptides?
In published research, CJC-1295 with DAC has often been discussed alongside peptides that stimulate growth hormone through complementary mechanisms, including Ipamorelin. The combination is investigated because the peptides act through different receptor systems, although each retains a distinct pharmacological profile.
¿Está este producto destinado al uso humano?
No. CJC-1295 with DAC supplied by LIFE Peptide is intended strictly for laboratory and analytical research. It is not intended for human consumption, diagnosis, treatment or prevention of disease.

CJC-1295 no DAC (Modified GRF 1-29) – investigated for physiological pulsatile growth hormone release and short-duration GHRH signalling.
Ipamorelin – studied as a selective ghrelin receptor agonist that stimulates endogenous growth hormone release through a complementary pathway.
Tesamorelin – investigated as a clinically validated GHRH analogue with established endocrine research.
MOTS-c – focuses on mitochondrial metabolism, exercise adaptation and healthy aging rather than direct GH signalling.
Epitalon – investigated for telomere biology, circadian regulation and longevity research.
SS-31 – investigated for mitochondrial function and cellular bioenergetics.
Although these peptides are often grouped within performance and healthy aging research, CJC-1295 with DAC is distinguished by its sustained activation of the growth hormone axis, whereas the others target different biological pathways.
